    Description

    Original new car announcement reception plate from autumn 1963 to reveal the 1964 models.  Each plate is approximately 6 inches in diameter.  Note that the tape measure in the photo gives incorrect perspective as the plates are six inches.  These plates were to be used for the festivities associated with the introduction of the new models that were anxiously anticipated each fall when the new styles were unveiled to the public.  New models were shrouded in secrecy until the official announcement day.  These plates show Pontiac Wide-Track 64  Wishing you a happy new car year.  Thanks for your interest.
