Condition note:  The glass itself is in good condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. The gold lettering on the award is in good shape with a few areas where the gold is worn a little light (see the word "purpose" and the word "liquid" for example) and a few small scratches or tiny missing flecks in the gold paint.  The main condition issue is what looks to be a hard water stain on the face of the award.   Looking at the piece from some angles, it is hardly noticeable.  But, from other angles and in the right light, you can really see it.  I have captured this cloudy looking film on the glass in several photos.  I have not tried to clean this off for fear of rubbing off the gold lettering. I will let the new owner decide whether to attempt to try to clean it or keep it just as it is.
